An Integrative Literature Review on Psychological Intervention Research for Firefighters

Purpose The purpose of this study was to find core components psychological intervention for firefighters by integrative literature review. Methods Whittemore and Knafl’s review methods used synthesize the literature. Articles published in Korean English were identified through seven electronic databases. Nineteen studies ultimately selected that met selection criteria Results Through in-depth discussion investigation relevant literature, three overarching emerged: (a) resilience prevention primary prevention, (b) early crisis secondary (c) tailored recovery tertiary prevention.
